Description of Services: PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS
RME SHARPENING/MAINTENANCE
The VHA NCO 09 - Murfreesboro, TN has a requirement for the Lexington VAMC, Acquisition Logistics Service, located at 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502. This procurement will be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. The anticipated contract type will be a firm fixed-price contract. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website on or about June 19, 2019. This date is subject to change. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database (www.SAM.gov) to be eligible for award of a contract. The point of contacts (POCs) for this pre-solicitation notice is Tina Smith, Contracting Officer, email: christina.smith7@va.gov. Comments should be forwarded in writing to Tina Smith at the above referenced email address.

Anticipated period of performance: 1 October 2019 through 30 September 2020 plus four (4) one-year options.
The vendor shall ensure that the repairs and service functions are performed in conformance with ANSI-AAMI ST-79:2010 Part 7.7 (Servicing and Repairs of Devices in the Veteran Health Care Facility), ISO-9001 and specifications used by the instrument manufacturer.
Vendor shall provide these preventative maintenance and repair services, to include but not limited to; sharpening, adjusting, aligning, straightening, refurbishing, calibrating, cleaning, stain removal, polishing, oiling, adjusting and replacing parts of various individual surgical instruments and procedural instrumentation trays. Instruments will be provided individually or as components of a specialty tray. All instruments all be maintained in proper operating conditions as specified by the original manufacturer and in compliance with ANSI-AAMI ST-79:2010 Part 7.7 (Servicing and Repairs of Devices in the Veteran Health Care Facility).
The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 and the Small Business Administration size standard is $20.5 Million. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about June 19, 2019. The date is not firm and is subject to change. Potential quoters must register at https://fbo.gov to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract neither does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation because of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and Veteran Vendor Information Pages database (VIP) pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines prior to award. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov and www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov.
This solicitation will be 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB s).
