RIA GAGE BPA
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing a sources sought notice on behalf of the U.S. Joint Manufacturing Technology Center - Rock Island Arsenal (RIA), Rock Island, IL in an effort to identify capable sources to become Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) holders for the production and delivery of different types of gages manufactured to RIA designs, American Gage Design, or industry standards (ASME B1.1, ASME B47.1) and other standards as needed, on a five (5) year BPA to include, but not limited to, the items listed below.

Ring Gages
Pin Gages: Tapered, Stepped, Straightness
Thread Gages: Plug, Set Plug, Ring
Thread types: Thread types: Unified inch (UN), Unified inch with rounded root radius (UNJ), Metric (M), Metric with rounded root radius (MJ), Screw Thread Insert (STI), Buttress, Pipe, Acme (General Purpose, Stub, Centralized) and Trapezoidal
Spline Gages
Fixture Gages
Concentricity Gages
The specifications of the gages would be provided at the time of the requirement, but will generally be under 6 Inches in diameter, may be Inch or Metric and may require Hard Chrome (MIL-HDBK-204A) for durability.
The gages will be inspected and calibrated by RIA upon receipt and must meet all dimensions, tolerances and specifications as indicated by the requirements before final acceptance. If rejected the vendor will correct and resubmit in a timely manner.
RESPONSES: Interested companies who consider themselves capable, are invited to indicate their interest in providing the U.S. Government with the following information:
a. Company Name, CAGE code, size status.
b. Provide a brief summary of the company's capabilities.
c. Estimated delivery schedule after date of order.
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. The Government will not accept requests for meetings or briefings. No phone solicitations or email with regards to the status of the Request for quote (RFQ) will be accepted prior to its release. All companies interested in a potential future solicitation for this item must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
