RFQ to INSTALL IT CABLING FROM BLDG 3 TO BLDG 2
STATEMENT OF WORK
DENTAL IT CABLING INFRASTRUCTURE
GENERAL SCOPE:
Contractor shall install IT cabling from Building 3 to Building 2 and associated infrastructure in Building 2 at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital
DETAILED REQUIREMENTS - WORK TO INCLUDE:
" Terminate one 24 strand 50/123 MM PVC Fiber from new Dental IT closet in Bldg. 2 to the computer server room in the 2nd floor of Bldg. 3.
" Terminate both ends using LC connectors and one 24-port rack-mounted LIU each.
" Supply ten 3-meter LC 50/125 MM jumper cables.
" Terminate VA furnished and installed Cat 6 cable onto five Ortronics Cat6 patch panels using six IU horizontal wire management units.
" Supply one 7' 2-post rack unit and one 7' vertical, double-sided wire management unit.
" Test, identify and label all Cat6 jacks within the new Dental space on the second floor of Bldg. 2, providing a PDF report on the results of testing.
" Supply seventy-five 7' Cat6 patch cables and seventy-five 5' Car6 patch cables.
" All fiber to be installed in 1" PVC inner duct.
" Installation work to be performed off normal business hours.
