RFQ for Web & Email Marketing
The Vail Local Marketing District (VLMD) is seeking proposals from qualified marketing vendors to assist with its web and email marketing initiatives for 2009. The VLMD is responsible for summer and shoulder season marketing programs in Vail funded by a 1.4 percent lodging tax which generates approximately $2 million annually. A 9-member advisory group is responsible for making recommendations to the VLMD.
Responses to the VLMDs request for qualifications (RFQ) are due Feb. 9 and should include a statement covering the firms resources, expertise, annual billing revenues, number of employees, client lists and references, plus an overview of the team responsible for the project and their backgrounds. In addition, examples of web and email marketing initiatives relevant to the travel industry should be included in the response as well as an approach to the goals outlined by the VLMD and the budget necessary to achieve the goals.
