RFQ: ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES
It is the intent of this RFQ to develop a list of engineering consultants for on-call planning, design and
construction administration services. Various City departments and/or Project Managers may utilize the
services provided with the listed firms on individual projects with combined disciplines up to a maximum of
$100,000.00 for planning, design and construction administration services. If a project is anticipated to exceed
$100,000.00, the City will follow the established rules and regulations and provide for competition of the project
through the formal open competitive process.
The City is interested in the following disciplines:
a. General Civil Engineering, including:
Design of streets, intersections and drainage systems
Design of alternative transportation mode facilities
b. Geotechnical Engineering
c. Structural Engineering, including Bridges
d. Stormwater Engineering, including:
Drainage Reports and Studies
Modeling
e. Land Surveying
f. Drafting (CADD)
g. Environmental Engineering, including:
Assessments
Permits
h. Traffic Engineering, including:
Intelligent Transportation Systems
Traffic Signal design and signal timing
Traffic Counts
School Safety Studies
i. Transportation Planning, including:
Neighborhood Traffic Calming
Access Management Plans
j. Grant Writing
k. Real Estate Services Right of Way Acquisition
