RFQ: ON-CALL DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE FAADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM & TENANT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
The City of Oakland and the Oakland Redevelopment Agency (Agency) seeks written proposals
from interested and qualified architectural firms to provide on-call design services for the
Commercial Faade Improvement Program and Tenant Improvement Program. The Faade
Improvement Program and Tenant Improvement Program are part of Oaklands commercial district
revitalization strategy. Due to their overwhelming success, the City and Agency are looking to
expand the consultant base of these programs. New and participating firms are encouraged to apply.
Several firms will be selected to enter into design contracts with the City of Oakland and Oakland
Redevelopment Agency for up to $200,000 ($35,000 minimum). Firms will be paid on a project to
project basis and in an amount not to exceed $5,000 per project. Only firms that respond to this
RFQ will be eligible to enter into contracts.
