RFQ: AIRPORT ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit responses from
qualified Vendors interested in providing airport architectural services to the County of
San Bernardino, Department of Airports (AIRPORTS) and County Service Area 60,
Apple Valley Airport (collectively referred to as COUNTY). Airport architectural services
include but are not limited to: projects involving space planning and usages, education
facility designs, conceptual layouts, development of architectural design standards, wayfinding
development and implementation, electrical, mechanical, structural, and
landscaping and other architectural disciplines related to building renovation, design and
construction. Certain development projects are eligible for state and/or federal funding
by the State of California Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division
(CALTRANS) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Eligible projects that may
be funded during the expected term of this agreement are listed in Attachment A. NOTE:
Each individual project is subject to being funded by CALTRANS and/or FAA. As such,
individual projects may or may not be undertaken throughout the anticipated term of this
agreement, depending on the specific funding authorization of CALTRANS and /or the
FAA. It is the intent of the COUNTY to award one (1) airport architectural services
agreement through this RFQ process. The agreement will be for a term of three (3)
years.
