The city of Seattle needs a company to analyze the policy options to reduce the energy consumption of new buildings constructed in the Seattle area. Greg Nickels has established the goal of making Seattle America's Green Building capital. Following this announcement, the Mayor has convened a Green Building Task Force to provide guidance on appropriate policy mechanisms to achieve this goal.
