RFP for Mobile Technology Turnkey Solutions for Classrooms

This RFP was developed to generate pilots in the use of mobile technology. These pilots are intended to prepare schools, teachers and students in the use of ICT within and outside of the classroom, to develop new strategies for 21 st Century Learning and provide professional development for teachers. The three overarching goals are to:
1) Build the capacity of schools in the use of mobile technology for student learning.
2) Create a pilot program and gather research as to the use of mobile technology in
classrooms.
3) Document effective practices and lessons learned in:
a) The use of mobile devices
b) The use of apps
c) Professional development for mobile technologies
d) Acceptable use policy development
e) Infrastructure and technical considerations
