RFP for Construction Manager-at-Risk for DPS Emergency Vehicles Operations Course, Florence, Texas
TFC is soliciting proposals for the construction of an Emergency Vehicles Operation Course, Project #08-006A-0405, in Florence, Texas. The project will consist of approximately 6.2 miles of road, with the majority of roads paved with concrete. The course is composed of various training sections, including a Highway Response Course, two Skills Pads, a Skid Pan, and an Urban Tactical Range. All roadways that compose the course are intended to closely mimic their real world counterparts. The project site is at 820 County Road 240 Florence, Texas 76527. This project will be administered by the TFC Facilities Design and Construction (FDC) Division. This procurement is a one-step process. MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCES: The mandatory pre-proposal conferences are scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM and Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the DPS firing range located at County Road 240 in Florence, TX. From I-35, turn west on State Highway 195 to county road 240. Turn right on CR 240 and continue to the dead end of the road at the DPS site. There is no one in the house so continue to drive thru the gate until you arrive at the office which is the very first building. Please check in with the office manager. Respondents must attend at least one (1) of the two (2) pre-proposal conferences. Proposals submitted by firms that did not attend one of the mandatory pre-proposal conferences will be rejected.
