The Gwinnett County Department of Transportation/Transit Division operates public transit service branded as Gwinnett County Transit (GCT) and is seeking to implement Transit ITS and security improvement systems using Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), and other Smart Bus technologies, along with on-board video surveillance to better manage its transit services and improve security. The full Scope of Services for the procurement and implementation of CAD/AVL and video security systems (hereafter referred to as the CAD/AVL System) for GCT is described in the Technical Specification included herewith as Appendix A. The successful Proposer will enter into a Contract to complete the project as specified in the Technical Specification.
