The City of La Habra Heights (City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to provide audit services:
Audit Services
a)Audit the City's financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017 through June 30, 2019. Two additional one-year extensions may be granted. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America; the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States; and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of State and Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations and related Compliance Supplements of each major federal program.
b)Provide additional audit, review, agreed-upon procedures and/or other services requiring that an audit/attest opinion to be issued. These services are to be performed in accordance with the attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants or other applicable standards based upon the scope of work. Hourly rates for additional audit services should be provided.
There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.
To be considered, a proposal must be received to the City of La Habra Heights, 1245 North Hacienda Road, La Habra Heights, California 90631 by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. Proposals submitted will be evaluated by City staff for approval and award.
