RFP Parking Structure Physical Assessment in 9 City owned garages
INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS
The City is seeking the services of a Parking Structure Assessment firm to assess the
physical conditions of 9 City-owned parking structures in Pasadena . The assessment will
include the following: energy efficiency analysis of existing lighting, visual surveys of
the garages to document existing conditions, identification of structural or safety matters
that require immediate attention, sounding of supported floors for delaminations, concrete
samples through cores or powders, traffic membrane bond tests, and pachometer surveys
of concrete topping and floor slabs. The results of this assessment will be used to
compile a system-wide master plan of prioritized restoration efforts in the structures over
the next 5 years.
Parties interested in responding are asked to submit 8 copies of the proposal no later than
3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, to:
