RFP FOR COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH MAINT. AND REPAIR SERVICES
The CAD System and its subsystems are used by LAWA Police Division in its dispatch operations for facilitating incident response and communication in the field with the law enforcement officers. CAD was implemented at LAX and LA/ONT to improve communication between patrol units and the dispatchers. The CAD system functions include call-taking, dispatching, patrol unit status management, location identification and resource tracking. The Mobile Data Computer (MDC) subsystem provides mobile data communication between the dispatcher and the field officer and allows access to court case, traffic citation and field investigation data. The resulting contract from this RFP will provide maintenance and repair services for the CAD System and subsystems.
