In anticipation of growth of current network and the projected increase for number of users requiring internet access, FCPS has identified the need for a long term internet service provider, capable of servicing FCPS needs and requirements. The current bandwidth of 50MBPS is insufficient, as we max out at 100% during the day. The Request for Proposal will include a request for 100MB bandwidth to meet the FCPS needs, including requirements for connection, service and equipment requirements. The contract shall be effective July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011, with annual extension options available for two one-year periods, with mutual agreement of both parties.
