RFP, Procurement, Project Management & Quality Assurance Support for Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Takeover
The Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Care Financing and Policy (DHCFP) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to assist in the procurement, provide quality assurance and project management services for the Takeover of the Divisions Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
First Health Services Corporation (FHSC) currently provides fiscal agent, tools support and hosting services to the DHCFP through a contract scheduled to terminate in September, 2012. FHSC has notified the DHCFP that it will not re-bid the contract after its current term. DHCFP has determined that its most prudent course of action is to contract with an established MMIS vendor to take over, replace select FHSC tools and operate the States current MMIS.
Any contract awarded as a result of this RFP is contingent upon approval of funding by the Nevada State Legislature and/or the appropriate federal funding agency. While the contract resulting from this procurement may be approved by the Nevada Board of Examiners prior to funding being approved by the Nevada Legislature, work will not begin until such funding has been approved and allocated.
The not-to-exceed amount for this contract is $1,999,510.00. Proposals that exceed this amount will not be distributed for evaluation.
