RFO for CASI Software JES2FTP & RPL licenses and Software Maintenance
The Texas Department is seeking to purchase Software and Maintenance for IBM z/OS mainframe computer system that takes mainframe batch report output, converts it to a variety of electronic formats, and delivers the resulting output via FTP directly to network servers or to HFS files on the mainframe. This software must operate on both sequential file and JES2/JES3 queue output; create PDF, HTML, .CSV, and other output formats; split report pages and route to different destinations without changing the mainframe application; extract/modify report contents or read external tables for routing of the output; and create multi-level indices for ease of report navigation and viewing. The PDF creation capability must include the ability to encrypt and password protect the report contents. In addition, the desired software should include an email mechanism to notify users of report availability with embedded links to the documents for immediate access and viewing. The desired software should be commercially available and fully supported and maintained by the vendor.
