RFI - COMPOSITE CARRIER STRUCTURES
This is a modification to the synopsis entitled "RFI - COMPOSITE CARRIER STRUCTURES," Reference # HEEET-CCS-RFI-2014-L, which was posted on November 4, 2014. You are notified that the following changes are made:
1. The due date for responses is extended to no later than 5:00 pm Pacific Time, December 1, 2014.
2. In addition to the information originally requested, please repond to the following Carrier Structure RFI Addendum: The HEEET project is also requesting information for all tasks where a thick laminate skin will be used instead of a composite sandwich structure. Additional information from the vendor on the following topics is requested. - What previous experience does the vendor have in fabricating thick laminate skins on the order of 0.4 to 0.75 thick? - What is the anticipated cost and schedule of each task assuming thick laminate skin where the nominal thickness is 0.5 with a 20:1 ply ramp up to 0.625 under the fittings?
