RFI: Company Intranet
- This RFI had a pre-bid event.
- This RFI was uploaded by the owner.
The Company is in the process of implementing a new intranet for its 100 employees. The project has just started and it is in the requirements stage.
The Company's current internal website primarily serves as a conduit to a SharePoint site index web page. It consists of one page that lists hyperlinks to public and private SharePoint sites. Other than that, the internal website offers little information and usefulness. The problems with the current internal website include:
• No collaboration is available
• No sharing of knowledge
• Only IT staff can update it
• Out of date information
• Inconsistent styles, compared to SharePoint sites
• Duplicate information
• Not aesthetically pleasing
• Not an interactive environment
• Can’t easily find information
• Most people can’t remember the location or how to get to it
• Most people find no real reason to go there
