RFB 13-2381 Canemah South Natural Area - Road Stabilization & Improvements

A Voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on April 18, 2013 at 9:00 am at 10765 S. Beutel Rd. Oregon City, OR. 97045. Bidders should drive in through the gate and meet at the barn. Interested sub-contractors are also invited. RSVP to [email protected] referencing the RFB number to assure that all interested contractors can be accommodated.
Metro may not respond to questions received after 3:00 p.m. on April 25, 2010.
Work includes road improvement and decommissioning work on the existing forest road system as required to complete the project as called for by the plans and specifications. The existing mainline road will be improved by removing roadside vegetation, cleaning out existing culverts, installing water bars, and installing a crushed rock surface. There are also several spur roads that connect to the mainline road. Sections of these spur roads will be improved by installing water bars and turnarounds, and other sections will be decommissioned by installing boulder blockades, ripping the existing subgrade, and spreading seed and mulch.
