Metro has purchased a pole barn building for the purpose of storing a fleet of electric golf carts to serve at the Glendoveer Golf Course. This 60' x 96' wood pole building has been engineered to accommodate a 24.96 kilo watt grid tied solar photovoltaic installation. The primary purpose of installing the system is to offset the electrical load generated by an electric golf cart fleet that will be housed in a pole barn that will be constructed by others.
