RESEARCH ON ADVANCED AND INTEGRATED SMART BUILDING CONTROL SYSTEMS
This RFP is an invitation to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Research on Advanced and Integrated Smart Building Control Systems for HVAC and Lighting in Small to Medium Sized Buildings (Research ) to:
* Define the technology category (advanced and integrated smart building control systems for small to medium sized buildings);
* Provide definitions and examples for small to medium sized buildings based on cost effectiveness of advanced and integrated smart building control systems implementation for a variety of building types and occupancies;
* Provide a state of the art review of existing products and claims from the advanced building control systems as described above;
* Provide data and analysis to help quantify the potential contributions of this class of technologies to achieving Ontarios conservation targets; and,
* Provide an overview of emerging technologies of this class of technologies to help inform the investment strategy of the Technology Development Funds for the 2010-2012 period.
