The Comptroller of The City of New York together with the Mayors Office of Management and Budget (the City) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) on behalf of the Audit Committee in accordance with the requirements of the New York City Charter Section 95 which states: "[a]n annual audit shall be made of the consolidated operating accounts of the city and year-end assets of the City by a firm or firms of certified public accountants. In accordance with Section 95, the audit engagement resulting from this RFP will be limited to four years.
