REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL for Web Designer
LAUP is seeking a website strategist to serve as its Web Designer in the redevelopment of the organizations existing website. Currently, the site only offers static information about LAUP, its programs and resources for early childhood education (ECE). The objectives are to maintain effective on-going communication with our network of providers, stakeholders and the ECE community about the benefits of universal preschool and to build awareness of LAUP and its mission for increasing access to high-quality preschool. Another important component is to solicit major donors to enhance our efforts for raising funds. The expansion of the site will include the development of an interactive and user-friendly framework that will accommodate audio/video streaming, captivating images that align with LAUPs current branding strategy, easy to download formats, form submissions, workshop and event RSVP/registration and live credit card processing. Best practices must be adhered to in the design and construction of the site. Collaboration with in-house design and information technology will work as coordinators to help the Web Designer maneuver the process, as needed, among internal clients.
