REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR FACILITIES, GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT AND LONG RANGE PLAN
The purpose of the Assessment is to gather information on the condition of the current
properties within the overall context of the business needs of the Borough. The Borough is
requesting proposals from architectural, engineering or other qualified consulting firms to
perform an assessment of the Borough’s needs relative to the formulation of a number of
options culminating in a long range plan for facilities, grounds and maintenance. This
information should include, but is not limited to, current condition of the buildings and
grounds; current utilization of space based on business processes and needs and community
needs; current condition of furniture with special emphasis on function and aesthetics.
Included in this information should be the current and future maintenance needs of these
properties, both within the context of the status quo and potential improvements to the
properties. Once the information is gathered it should be provided to the Borough with
recommendations for short and long term improvements and maintenance. With regard to
ongoing and long term maintenance the Borough is seeking advice on the best approach to
assuring the maintenance needs of both the buildings and grounds.
