REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) for Feasibility Study of Property Located at Mapulehu, Molokai, Hawaii
The County of Maui is requesting proposals from qualified consultant(s) to furnish any and all professional services to conduct a feasibility study for the following property:
8303 Kamehameha V Highway, Mapulehu, Molokai, Hawaii, also known as the Mapulehu Glass House property (see location map attached). Tax Map Key: (2)5-7-008:076. Property is comprised of approximately 8.91 acres containing one residential and several support buildings which are vacant.
The purpose of this RFP is to select a qualified consultant that will conduct a study on the aforementioned property to determine its feasibility under each of the following categories of use:
1. Public use (e.g., park, public safety facility)
2. Leasing of the property to non-profit agency(ies)
3. Any other use deemed appropriate or recommended by the consultant
The proposal shall include an archaeological study. The extent of the study shall be proposed by the bidder based upon each category of property use listed above.
