REPLACEMENT OF HVAC SYSTEM BUILDING #1 PUSHMATAHA HALL

THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CLARIFY AND ANSWERS QUESTIONS FROM SITE VISITS.

ADD ON:

1. The existing vent in the conference room needs to be better secured and supported better within the grid and one additional vent in that room needs to be added which will also need to include insulated ducting (flexible or rigid).

2. In the basement there is a supply duct that need to be insulated 15 ft of it with fiberglass insulation to prevent sweating in the AC mode it is approximately a 2-21/2 ft diameter.

THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS WERE ASKED DURING WALK THROUGHS. SEE QUESTION AND RESPONSE.

1. Can the wiring between the unit and disconnect be reused?

Answer: No, it should be new along with the 3 wire whips, as stated in SOW.

2. Can the existing transition piece be reused?

Answer: As long as it is insulated inside or aluminum clad outside for the insulating factor and is a clean fit to the new unit, Yes. I do not want it chopped and patched and made to fit if the new unit is different on supply and return.

3. The existing 6ft of gas line is currently 1/2" and we would like it to be modified to 3/4".

4. The question was ask can the penetration of the whips and or gas line remain?

Answer: they need to be proper and neat where they enter/penetrate the building and made sure not to leak interior of the building to interior. This should be a given within the SOW.

5. The current unit is two stage and we want it replaced with the same, meaning two compressors and no less than 10 ton.

6. Test and Balance can it be done internally or does it have to be done 3rd party?

Answer: This should be done by an independent contractor.

7. Can a manual volume damper be used in place of economizer?

Answer No
