This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24219B0032 - Project Number 630-19-101 Replace Roofs Buildings 4 & 5 at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan Campus, 423 E. 23rd St., New York, NY 10010.
This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238160 Roofing Contractors and has a Size Standard of $15 million.
The cost estimate range for this project is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00.
Background:
The VAMC Manhattan Campus is looking to replace roofs on Buildings 4 & 5. Services to include all labor, scaffolding to access roofs and fall protection, roofs demolition, removal and install new roofing systems, clear roof drains and lighting protection. All work shall be performed in accordance with AE designer drawings & specifications, including VA requirement and specifications.


Scope of Work:
Furnish and provide all work, products, materials, installation, and execution associated with replacement of building 4 and building 5 roofs in the main hospital building, Veteran s Affairs Medical Center, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010.
Replacement of Roofs:
Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 4, (A/C) Building.
Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 5, (switchgear / Chiller Building).
Provide Ten (10) third party monthly construction inspections and reports per Spec Section 1.34 (Construction Safety Program).
All new roofs must have a 20 years warranty

Work shall comply with the applicable specifications and dimensions in the Contractor Drawings and the applicable requirements set forth in Roofing system
The scope includes but is not limited to above work.


Project Completion: Period of Performance is 365 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed.

All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about May 6, 2019. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com, and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
