Question: Is there a specific reason why Flex TPO 80 mil is not being accepted as an alternate?
Answer: Flex TPO membrane is not compatible with TPO specified.
Flex Elvaloy of .80" thickness for 30 year warranty roof is compatible with TPO specified. The noted Flex Elvaloy is acceptable.
