REPAIR WATERFRONT, COAST GUARD STATION ROCKLAND, ME (KNOX COUNTY)

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and disposal required to repair the waterfront at Coast Guard Station Rockland Maine (Knox County). The work includes removing and replacing concrete wharfs, pile caps and knee walls with new cast in place and precast components, replacing mooring hardware, removing cement and bituminous concrete pavement, excavating, installing geotextile membrane, placing flowable fill, backfilling and compacting earth fill wharf, constructing loading zones including cast in place concrete pavement, grading, bituminous paving, construction drainage basins and related construction.
An optional bid item includes replacement of a concrete floating dock and aluminum gangway and repairs to floating docks.
This invitation for bid is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14, and is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns in accordance with FAR Part 19.5. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million.
The magnitude of construction range of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid, payment, and performance bonds will be required.
The overall performance period for this project is 365 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed.
