REPAIR OF TOWED SONAR ARRAY FAIRING COVERS
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to solicit, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, a firm fixed price contract, to be competed on a full and open competition basis, for services to repair twenty four towed SONAR array fairing covers. The contractor shall install compliant foam using syntactic injection requirements and restore covers in accordance with repair procedure. Proposed contract to be procured in accordance with FAR Part 15. Period of performance for this service is September 8, 2015 through March 1, 2015, with three units required to be completed by November 1, 2014. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil.
The solicitation will be issued on or about July 14, 2014 with a closing date on or about August 14, 2014. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that website for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
