REPAIR HVAC FOR MULTI-MISSION BUILDING AT USCG STA PT ALLERTON
This NOTICE is a result of the Sources Sought notice issued under HSCGG1-17-S-PTALL-HVAC


The subject Multi-Mission Building (MMB) is a 2.5 story 10,200 sqft search and rescue duty station. It includes offices, command and control center, duty berthing rooms, galley, and storage spaces.


Base Bid:
-Replace all HVAC systems and components to include: demolition of existing two zone VAV system, hydronic baseboard heating system, boilers and galley makeup air system; installation of 27 zone WSHP system, drycooler, boilers, galley MAU, and three zone DOAS.
-Replace all drop ceilings and lighting.
-Perform berthing wing fire code compliance work above drop ceiling to include extending room partitions up to the deck underside.


Optional Bid Item:
- Perform berthing wing fire code compliance work below drop ceiling to include increasing berthing room partition fire ratings, replacing flammable trim and replacing berthing room doors.
-Replace in-floor Galley Grease Trap
-Replace Boiler Room Window and Louvers.
-Repair scaling/cracking concrete roof overhang.


The anticipated construction time is 254 days (284 with OPI #1) from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business size standard of $15.0M Million. Bid (SF24), payment and performance bonds (SF25, SF25A) will be required. The total estimated value of the procurement is between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000.
Solicitation packages will be available on or about 20 November 2017. The tentative date set for bid opening is 21 December 2017 at 2:00 p.m. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14. Pursuant to FAR Part 19.14 Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside procedures, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns.
