This Sources Sought Announcement is to identify interested contractors capable and qualified to perform repair services to a Caterpillar 140H Grader and a Caterpillar IT28F Loader (requires repair of grader to be completed on site) at Fort Apache Agency, 180 W. Horseshoe Drive, Whiteriver, AZ 85941. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. All interested and qualified concerns are encouraged to submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative and management capability of such offerors to perform the requirement. The capability statements will be used to assist in determining appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. The Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs is conducting a Market Survey to determine the availability, interest and capability of any (1) Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE in compliance with the Buy Indian Act) or (2) Small Business firms eligible to compete under NAICS code 811111 with a Small Business Size Standard $7.5 Million. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. Submission of information is voluntary. Requirement/Project Description: Grader and Loader Repair 1. A scope of work will be provided with any solicitation that may be issued. Responses to this announcement are requested from (1) Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) in compliance with the Buy Indian Act; (2) Small Business Economic Enterprises (Non Native American Indian/Non Native Alaskan). Economic Enterprises responding to this announcement are to indicate the firm's socioeconomic status (e.g ISBEE or Small Business). If sufficient interest and capability is not received from firms in categories (1) through (2) above, any solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. Interested small business firms shall submit (1) Company Name, Address, and Phone Number of the firm, DUNS number, and contract person's name & title; (2) a capability statement including (a) RECENT (within the last three fiscal years) RELEVANT (similar projects to this requirement) performance history (identify the name of the owner and their point(s) of contract with telephone and fax numbers, email addresses; (b) in what capacity (e.g. prime, subcontractor, etc.) they performed the work; and (3) their SIZE STATUS. The firm/company must provide their DUNS number and have B?activeB? on-line registration in the System of Management (SAM). All responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted no later than Thursday, August 22, 2019, 5:00 PM ET via email to: Melanie.Schiaveto@bia.gov. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this Sources Sought market survey.
