140P8319Q0046 has been withdrawn. The requirement will be posted as 140P8319R0012, which closes on August 26, 2019.
The National Park Service has a requirement for the repair and replacement of sewer collection pipes, replacement of approximately 500 lineal feet of existing 4" and 6" gravity sanitary sewer main with new 4", 6" and 8" PVC piping and appurtenances by open trench method. The Work also include rehabilitation of approximately 730 lineal feet of existing 6" gravity sewer main using a Cast-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) repair method. Work includes completion of all necessary connections to existing sanitary sewer mains and manholes and completion of concrete surfacing repairs. Additionally, work will include the construction of all necessary wastewater bypass systems needed to maintain full wastewater service to the site throughout the construction process located in the Big Hole National Battlefield, Wisdom, MT, 59761.
A site visit is scheduled on August 7, 2019, at 10:00 am MT.
All work will be performed under a single or multiple firm fixed-price construction contract subject to the Wage Rate Requirements (Construction), formerly known as the Davis Bacon Act. Per the general price ranges established in FAR 36.204, the project range is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 237110, with a corresponding size standard of $36.5 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years.
This is a best value procurement set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR 19.5. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available by electronic means only and can be downloaded along with all related attachments from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The RFQ will close 30 days from the actual date of issuance. The Contractor is responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ.
The Government intends to award a single, fixed price contract. Award selection will be made on a Best Value determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price as listed in the Request for Quote (RFQ).
