RENOVATE CENTER CORRIDOR-BLDG #5
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Western Business Service Center, anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract for a project entitled "Renovate Center Corridor of Bldg. #5" at the USDA, ARS, Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center, 141 Experiment Station Road, Stoneville, MS. 38776. The work includes but is not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment to renovate center corridor of bldg. #5 as per the drawings and specifications. The period of performance is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. This is a 100% set-aside for competition among Small Business Contractors. The NAICS Code is 236220, with a size standard of $36.5 million. This will be an Invitation For Bid (IFB) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. Solicitation No. AG-4431-S-17-0022 documents will be available for viewing and downloading at the Fed Biz Opps web site: www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 07, 2017. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. CT. Any changes or additional information will be provided in the solicitation package. Bids will be due by 2:00 p.m. CT, on August 08, 2017. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible offer, who submits the lowest bid. All responsible Small Businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
