REFRIGERATOR CONTAINER LEASE
MICC Center-Fort Knox intends to issue a request for quotes (RFQ) for the Lease of Refrigerator Containers with a firm fixed price contract. This acquisition shall be set-aside for 100% small business. NAICS is 532210. The combined synopsis/solicitation shall be issued on 13 March 2018 with quotes due on 20 March 2018, 11:00am (EST). Please note that these dates are subject to change. All amendments will be likewise posted to FBO. All quotes shall be emailed to john.p.haarala.civ@mail.mil. Faxed or late quotes WILL NOT be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible offeror.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Contractor shall provide (10) Twenty-foot Refrigerated Container units with the ability to hold up to 8 standard pallets (single stacked). Additionally, contract shall include to/from transportation in order to support operations at a period of performance of
4 April 2018 through 28 April 2018 in support of the Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) at Fort Knox, KY.
