REAL-TIME INNOVATIONS DATA DISTRIBUTION SERVICE
INU TEQ, LLC has a requirement for Real-Time Innovations, Inc. Data Distribution Service (RTI DDS) Basic Support for Research Project License to RTI Connext Product Suite, one (1) each. To include: *Phone, email and web support for one (1) identified Developer, *Supported products: RTI Connext DDS Secure, RTI Connext DDS Micro, RTI Connext DDS Cert, and add-on products, *Supported platforms: All standards and specialty platforms, *RTI Connext DDS On-line Training access for 1 student, *Support term: One (1) year.
INU TEQ intends to purchase this service from Real-Time Innovations, Inc. located at 232 E. Java Drive, Sunnyvale, California 94089 which is a proprietary source.
RTI DDS is required for continuing development of simulation for the ATTRACTOR CAS project. Any change in supplier will require significant changes to the code baseline. Since software has already developed using RTI DDS implementation, the benefit is not incurring significant cost to port the software baseline to another technology or implementation.
The ATTRACTOR Project is working towards using exclusively to DDS open source standards, however, RTI DDS provides additional tools to streamline development.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:30 p.m. local time on March 25, 2019. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
