The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA489719QA230 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought.


Mt Home Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 334511. The size standard for NAICS is 1,250 number of employees.

What is the purpose of the item(s)?


Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers.


Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision.

SPECIFICATION SHEET Mountain Home AFB, ID RAPCON Consoles 19 AUGUST 2019

1. GENERAL: RAPCON Console.


2. CONSOLE MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: The RAPCON console must meet


the following requirements:


2.1. Physical Characteristics


2.1.1. Overall Dimensions 79.75"W x 38.5"H x 43" Top Depth, 17.818" Bottom Depth. All consoles will be flat on top and parallel with the floor.


2.1.2. Two end consoles, known as console A and D, will be 12.25"W x 38.5"H x 43" Top Depth, 17.818" Bottom Depth. The back will be able to open and have proper ventilation for any installed electronics. The console will have a 64 degree angle from the bottom face of the console to the floor going forward. The panel will then slope. The front will be sloping forward from bottom, 17.818"D, to top, 34.56"D. The panel will then extended 8.44" forward, parallel with the ground. The face of the console will then have a 6.00" rise and meet the top of the console. The front panel will have a control switch to control spot lighting installed on the face of console B and C. Consoles B and C tops will be flat and parallel with the floor. The face of the consoles will be removable.


2.1.3. Console B will 31.250W x 38.5"H x 43" Top Depth, 17.818" Bottom Depth. The back will be able to open and have proper ventilation for any installed electronics. The console will have a 64 degree angle from the bottom face of the console to the floor going forward. The panel will then slope. The front will be sloping forward from bottom, 17.818"D, to top, 34.56"D. The panel will then extended 8.44" forward, parallel with the ground. The face of the console will then have a 6.00" rise and meet the top of the console. A spot light will be installed within the top center of this console to shine down to illuminate the position manned below it. The control for this light will be installed in console A. The face of the console will be removable.


2.1.4. Console C will be 24.00"W x 38.5"H x 43" Top Depth, 17.818" Bottom Depth. The back will be able to open and have proper ventilation for any installed electronics. The console will have a 64 degree angle from the bottom face of the console to the floor

going forward. The panel will then slope. The front will be sloping forward from bottom, 17.818"D, to top, 34.56"D. The panel will then extended 8.44" forward, parallel with the ground. The face of the console will then have a 6.00" rise and meet the top of the console. 2.1.5. Console E will have an overall dimension of 48.50"W x 67.728"D x 19.800"H. At the 60.66" depth mark, a 10.00" length downward slope will be made, for an overall length of 67.728" depth occurs. The bottom of this console will measure 55.00" to the face panel that will be sloped downward. This is to allow for FAA ATC equipment to be installed and properly accessed. Measuring from the rear of the console forward 43.00", the console height will be 13.80". The last remaining 12.00" will be 6.00" lower as to create a knotch/ledge so the console will be at a usable height. This console will be installed on top of consoles A, B, C, and D. The face of the console will be removable.


2.1.6. Consoles B and C will have a mount for FAA ATC AFAS computer monitors installed on each face.


2.1.7. Consoles B and C will have holes cut to mount two FAA ATC GRCs, speaker outlets, and handheld mic connector port holes.


2.1.8. Console E will have eight square/rectangular holes cut in the downward sloping face to hold two TEDs, two trainer/trainee jacks, two speakers, and two volume control panels in the removable face.


2.1.9. All consoles will be able to attach to currently installed lower consoles.


2.1.10. The consoles will be powder coated black with texture to match current consoles.


2.1.11. The consoles must be approved for use with FAA equipment.


2.2. Warranty


2.2.1. The Seller warrants the product sold to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Its obligation under this warranty is limited to making good at its factory any part or parts thereof, which shall, within 12 months after purchase of the product to the original purchaser, be returned to its factory with transportation charges prepaid, and which examination shall disclose to the Seller's satisfaction to have been thus defective. This remedy shall be the exclusive remedy

available to the Buyer against the Seller for any defects in the products sold to the Buyer or for damages resulting from any other cause whatsoever, including without limitation, the negligence of Seller. Buyer acknowledges that Seller has made economic concessions reflected in these terms and conditions and in this quotation in consideration of this limitation of Buyer's remedies. The Seller shall not in any event be liable to the buyer for onsequential or incidental damages of any kind, whether for defective or nonconforming goods, each or repudiation of any of these terms and conditions, agreement, negligence or any other reason. This warranty shall not apply to any of the Seller's products which shall have been repaired or altered outside of the Seller's factory in any way so as, in the seller's judgment, to affect the product's reliability, nor to any product which has been subject to misuse, negligence or accident. This warranty is exclusive, and the Seller makes no other warranty or representation of any kind whatsoever, express or implied, with respect to the products sold to the Buyer, whether as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or any other matter.


3. SPECIFICS:


3.1. Shipping must be included in the quotation.


3.1.1. Contractor shall deliver to Mountain Home RAPCON - 366 OSS/OSAR, 665 Thunderbolt Ave, bldg.. 261, Mountain Home AFB ID, 83648


3.1.2. Delivery will be no later than 8-9 weeks after date of contract (ADC).
