This Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation Notice is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming. All questions regarding this Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation should be submitted in writing to the Point of Contact(s) indicated below.
Construction Project:

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District requires hydraulic maintenance dredging of the Quillayute River Federal Navigation Channel and Boat Basin. The volume of sediment to be dredged from the Boat Basin and Inner Navigation Channel is approximately 65,000 cubic yards with placement at the Site B disposal site, near the dredge area. In-water work begins 18 September 2017 and all in-water work must be completed by 28 February 2018.

The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed-price.

Solicitation number W912DW-17-B-0009 will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov, on or about 2 August 2017. The solicitation will be an Invitation for Bids. Bids will be due no sooner than 17 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date. See the solicitation for details about bid opening. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction - Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, and the associated small business size standard is $27,500,000 in average annual receipts. The solicitation is available for full and open competition.
