The National Transit Institute (NTI) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to facilitate its new Quality Assurance & Quality Control course. In addition, NTI may periodically request proposers to edit/update the existing course materials.
NTI’s Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QAQC) goal is to present QAQC principles to improve public transportation.
Key topics include:
QA/QC Overview-Definition Benefits, and FTA Requirements
Components of a Quality Management System
Development and Implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS)
The course intends to achieve the following outcomes for course participants:
Define Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
Identify the benefits of a Quality Management System,
Discuss FTA capital program and ISO 900 requirements
Present components of a QA/QC program
Examine the development and implementation of a QAQC components in public transportation
The course design will elicit maximum input from students. A high level of interactions is encouraged between the instructors and participants.
