Qualifications and Value Based Proposal Request for Architectural and Engineering Services
The University of Minnesota intends to contract with an architect to provide:
Predesign and schematic, design development, construction drawing, and construction administration
services for a new residential life green living and learning community on the Morris campus
The University of Minnesota, Morris, located in Morris, Minnesota, is a nationally recognized public liberal
arts college with 1,800 undergraduate students located on 1,250 acres in western Minnesota. The
University of Minnesota, Morris plans to upgrade its facilities with a new residential life community that will
provide housing for approximately 80 students in a modern, well-appointed facility.
The University of Minnesota, Morris 2007-08 compact calls for the campus to leverage sustainability,
energy and "green" initiatives as a means of securing market niche and advancing the overall University
of Minnesota mission as an innovator and leader in this area.
