QUARTZ CRYSTAL MICROBALANCE QCM CONTROLLER
NASA/GSFC has a requirement for 2 each, Mark 26-1 TQCM, 15 MHz, p/n 96-2516-01-02, 1 each, M2000-426 Controller, p/n 81-1839-02-01, 1 each, M2015-26-25-8-F Cable, p/n 88-2377-01 and 1 each, RS-232 to USB Converter.
NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from QCM Research only. QCM Research is the only company that can provide a QCM monitoring and control system that can handle up to 16 QCM sendors operating simultaneously. QCM Research is also the only company that can provide compact, light weight sensors that provide unparalleled flexibility in the placement of sensor head and thus can monitor outgassing rates in difficult to reach areas.

This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on July 24, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
