Synopsis: QUAD BAND SATELLITE SIMULATOR SOURCES SOUGHT. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential Small Businesses. 184IW Kansas Air National Guard Base, Kanas anticipates the solicitation and award of a contract for a quad band simulator for our Air Control Squadron. The simulator must have the capabilities to simulate C-band (5.85 - 6.425GHz@ Nominal -15dBm), X-band (7.9 - 8.4Ghz @ Nominal -15dBm), Ku-band (14.0 - 14.5Ghz@ Nominal -15dBm), and Ka-bands (30.0 - 31.0Ghz @ Nominal -15dBm). The simulator must be lightweight, ruggedized waterproof, and allow for 115 - 230 VAC power input.


All interested Small Business concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their capabilities to provide this product as small business manufacturer. This notification must include a (1) positive statement of intent to provide quote and (2) A specification sheet of your proposed simulator.


In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this procurement, it will be advertised as unrestricted.
