QNX Software
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with QNX Software Systems for the procurement of Software Licenses & 12-months of Support for each license. QNX is the operating system for Improved Fresnel Lens Optical Landing System (IFLOLs). This procurement is not a small business set-aside. The NAVAIR Office of Small Business Programs concurs. The NAICS code is 511210.
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not possess rights to the data to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
