This is published as sole source announcement under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1), permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Army Contracting Command, APG Tobyhanna Division, Tobyhanna, PA 18466, intends to negotiate and award a contract to SorApower Incorporated, 1141 Olympic Drive, Corona, CA, 92881, as the sole source for three (3) each of the following repair parts for the AN/MPN-14K Radar Modulator, Part Number 230008-1:

- Filament Pulse Transformer Part Number: TP1000
- Pulse Forming Network Part Number: 17M112
- Charging Reactor Part Number: CC1003
- Corner Cutter Part Number: RP1000
- Choke Part Number: FC1007
- Filament Driver Part Number: W230028-1
- Backswing Clipper Part Number: W230039-1
SorApower is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and original developer, designer and sole producer of the AN/MPN-14K Radar Modulator and currently holds the only known certification authorization by the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, OK, to provide these repair parts. The technical data is proprietary to SorApower.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any company believing they are also currently certified by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and approved by the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center and eligible to provide required parts shall provide a copy of the certification authorization, along with their Capability Statement, to the Contract Specialist identified below within fifteen (15) days of this notice.
