Purchase of a New Hydraulic Crane
National Security Technology is seeking sources for the purchase of one (1) New 2016 or newer, 350 Ton Capacity Hydraulic Truck Mounted Crane, conforming to all applicable US regulations (including ASME B30.5, OSHA and Department of Transportation) equipped as follows:
BOOM: 260 ft minimum length hydraulic main boom with boom pinning, locking system. Including dolly if needed for on road travel. Boom removal kit. With 350 Ton Load Block, auxiliary hoist with headache ball, and 65 ft minimum removable jib extension.
BOOM ELEVATION: Hydraulic single acting cylinder (-1.5° to 82°) with integral holding valve.
LOAD MOMENT SYSTEM ("LMI"): load moment indicator with automatic cut-out and graphic display for actual and admissible load, radius, telescoping and other working conditions, include readout of load chart, and working range limiter.
OPERATORS CAB: Full vision cab, hydraulically tiltable to 20° minimum, mounted on the left side of the turntable, safety glass throughout, hinged front window with wiper, sliding door and window, sun-visor and window shade, skylight window with wiper, air conditioner and heater with defroster nozzles, adjustable seat, headrest and armrest mounted dual axis crane control joysticks, full instrumentation panel with crane engine controls. All control and warning markings in English. External spotlights on front of cabin, fire extinguisher 5kg (11 lb) mounted inside cab. Access ladder.
SWING: 360° continuous rotation, service and holding brakes with mechanical lock.
COUNTERWEIGHT: Equipped with hydraulic counterweight rigging and removal system.
SUPERSTRUCTURE ENGINE: Diesel Tier 4 Final off highway, capable of using B20 biodiesel, 75 gallon minimum tank size.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: 2 separate circuits for hoisting and slewing with electronic power limiting control, with oil cooler.
MAIN AND AUXILIARY HOISTS: Wire Rope, Axial piston motor with planetary reduction gear and automatic multiple disc brake. Drum rotation indicator and additional boom nose idler sheave. Both with 20,000 pound line pull minimum. Hoist camera incl. working lights.
SAFETY SYSTEMS: Hoist and lowering limit switch, check valves on load bearing cylinders, pressure relief valves, wind speed indicator and electronic leveling device, strobe lights on carrier.
OUTRIGGERS: (4) minimum hydraulic telescoping beams with vertical cylinders with outrigger pads. Independent horizontal and vertical operation controlled from each side of carrier. Electronic level indicator. Outrigger pad load indicator w/ readout on carrier & superstructure, working lights for each outrigger beam & hydraulic disconnects for all outrigger beams. Removable rear outrigger box.
CARRIER ENGINE and TRANSMISSION: Tier 4F off highway diesel engine capable of using B20 Biodiesel, 125 gallon capacity minimum, w/ locking filler cap. Allison transmission 4500 SP or equal, forward and reverse, automatic transmission with torque converter. Include retarder.
SUSPENSION: All wheel independent suspension, hydraulic lockout and automatic leveling system. Automatic interval-controlled central lubrication of struts and steering lever journals. Suspension pressure monitoring.
BRAKES: Dual line full air on all wheels, conforming to US Department of Transportation regulations. Pneumatically operated spring-loaded emergency/parking brake. Exhaust brake and constant throttle engine brake.
TIRES: On/off highway radials with steel rims.
LIGHTS: 24v system including head, rear, brake, reverse, hazard, directional indicators with reflectors conforming to applicable Department of Transportation requirements to include reflectors. Spotlights and rotating beacons.
CHASSIS CAB: Driver plus passenger left hand drive with fully adjustable pneumatic suspension driver and passenger seats with three-point seat belts. Safety glass windows, laminated front windshield with wipers and washers, heater and air conditioner including defroster, heated rear view mirrors, instrument panel with speed, tachometer, odometer, full warning instrumentation and travel controls. Fire extinguisher mounted inside the cabin. Strobe lights on carrier cabin.12V auxiliary plug. Backup camera system. Computerized asset management system software package for overall "health" of crane.
Standard new equipment warranty.
Onsite training upon delivery of crane.
Include 3 complete sets of bound manuals (operation, maintenance, and parts) and electronic (PDF) version in English.
Flashing aircraft warning strobe on tip of boom.
Crane must be delivered OR costed by September 22, 2017.
Interested Offerors must provide:
1. Descriptive literature to include type of equipment, specificaitons and any other techincal information regarding the equipment to be provided.
2. Company capability to provide the equipment.
3. Rough order of magnitude for the equipment.
Potential Offerors must provide the above information NOT LATER THAN June 1, 2017.
