Source Sought Notice

This is Sources Sought announcement only, this is NOT a Request for Quote. The
purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from
qualified vendors with special interest. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This
notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a
contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All
information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government
will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost
incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, and the Bronx VAMC in Bronx NY anticipates a purchase order for the following:

SAMSUNG 693 Series 32 LED Healthcare TV

The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this
requirement is 334310 (Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing) Interested vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Responses should address how you will meet the Government's needs according to the description below and provide a brief capability statement. Please include product literature that specifically addresses the technical requirements. Scope of Work
This is for the purchase of hospital grade flat screen TV sets for patient use. These televisions sets will serve as a multi-purpose dialysis clinic. These televisions will be use for long term comfort during dialysis treatment or any other extended chair treatment.

Recalls:
The Vendor shall immediately notify all affected VA Medical Centers and designated POC in the event of a device recall, removal, required adjustment, or required modification that is suggested or mandated by the Vendor, distributor, manufacturer, or any regulatory or government agency. The following information shall be included in this notification:
A complete item description and identification (to include lot and serial numbers where applicable)
Administrative identification data including order numbers and order date
Reasons for recall, removal, adjustment, or modification
Instructions for appropriate corrective action.

Warranty:
Minimum of 1 year warranty on all products.

7.) Training:
The vendor will be responsible for providing manuals and training the VA employees on the products to ensure that all staff are fully trained and completely competent to perform the required work.
