SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

Sources Sought:


(1)    The Even-Lavie Pulsed Valve-EL-5-3-2011, fully assembled RT model. (Room- Temperature) HRR (High Repetition Rate) up to 500 Hz or equivalent.
•    Back pressure - up to 100 bars pressure in the valve.
•    Gas pulse width 15- 30 microseconds. (~ 20 microseconds is the optimum)
•    Assembled onto ISO 100 flange (130 mm ØX 12 mm thick) on Aluminum stubs and columns.
•    Total standoff of the internal side of the flange- to Nozzle face -is 100 mm.
•    Vacuum feed through BNC connector for - the pulse.
•    Vacuum feedthrough (An O-Ring seal) for the gas line
•    One Aluminum stand for service and maintenance
•    One P.P. stand for delivery, service and maintenance.
•    Tool set including all required tools for service and maintenance.
(2)    2014 model Electronic driver unit, 100 - 240 V input, 24V output, for the HRR valves (For the Cryogenic valve). Price includes cables, One special high conductivity cable for the Pulse, (with two BNC on the ends). The second cable is a standard Eu. (Germany) 220V, Or USA cable - 110 V power input.
