Public Relations Services for the Center
The Town is seeking an experienced public relations firm (“Firm”) to partner in handling public relations and external communications with regard to an emerging arts facility that will be located in the heart of the Town Center. The working name of this facility is the [town] Center of the Arts and it will occupy the Village-owned building and grounds that will be vacated when the Art Museum moves to its new facility in 2012. As of the date of this RFP the
Village has initiated a community-wide visioning process that will inform and define the mission, vision
and operating plan for the Southampton Center of the Arts. The Village seeks to develop and implement a
strategic public relations plan that supports community involvement in the visioning process and
subsequent efforts; promotes public awareness of the new facility; and establishes brand awareness
locally, nationally and internationally.
