Public Relations Services
The State University is seeking responses to this solicitation from qualified individuals or firms (Respondents) to perform the services described below (Work) to build relationships with the State University and its publics.
Such a proposal shall describe the methodology to be used, which is to be based on parameters further described herein.
The University expects to enter into one (1) contract with the selected individual(s) or firm(s) to provide the following described services (Work):
Develop an action plan to integrate an effective public relations component with the Universitys marketing strategy through coordinated and collaborative efforts with administrative, academic and athletics components. This strategy assumes the solid groundwork laid by marketing, thus, there will be no need for a focus-group/feasibility study.
Recommend specific public relations tactics to implement and execute affirming a sense of urgency.
Provide direct assistance with the execution of the action plans and tactics.
Develop and recommend a timetable not to exceed 18 months for the complete implementation of the action plan.
The selected individual(s) or firm(s) as provider of the Work to the University shall:
Be expected to maintain a high degree of confidentiality throughout the process;
Refer all requests for information to Ms. Becky Prince, Vice President for University Advancement; and,
Be subject to the States open records laws.
The proposed term of any resulting contract shall be 18 months from the execution of the contract.
